There is little information out there about Canadian Physician Assistants. This Blog is to help Canadians understand the profession and to help interested students find their path toward the PA profession.
Hello & Welcome!
My name is Eden I graduated from the Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2014. I currently work in a rural hospital as a hospitalist physician assistant, primarily working in internal medicine. I started this blog when I first entered into the PA program in 2012. I wrote my experience through first and second year trying to include helpful tips and hints for those currently in the program or to those interested in applying.

Before attending PA school, I graduated with a 5 year Co-operative Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Microbiology from the University of Manitoba. I have worked at the National Microbiology Laboratory for about 3 years in different departments. This included projects on Mumps, Measles, Rubella, CMV, HPV and many others.
Aside from school I was a member of the University of Manitoba Dance Team for 3 years and was also part of a hip hop dance group called Define Movement for a year. I also enjoy hot yoga, participating in musical theater groups and volunteering.
